Porter Wagoner Released to Hospice Care

10/26/2007 Stephen L. Betts Grand Ole Opry and Country Music Hall of Fame member Porter Wagoner, who was hospitalized in Nashville on Oct. 15, was released to hospice care today, according to a statement from Grand Ole Opry publicist Jessie Schmidt. Porter, an Opry member since 1957, was recently diagnosed with lung cancer.
