Lucinda Williams to Release New Album

  Lucinda Williams has announced the release of her new album, with Little Honey due to hit shelves on Oct. 14, according to cmt.com. Several guest vocalists will be featured on the album, including Elvis Costello, Matthew Sweet, Susanna Hoffs, Jim Lauderdale, Time Easton and Charlie Louvin. A song written by Williams in 1985 is also included on the CD. Williams is probably best known for one of her songs being sung by another artist. “Passionate Kisses” was a smash Country hit for Mary Chapin Carpenter in 1992 after being originally included on Lucinda’s self-titled album four years earlier. Both Williams and Chapin received Grammy Awards for the recording.
