Timothy Dearing.  She mentioned how cool it would be if the local station, WIVK, (which happened to be the station playing in the hangar at the time,) would play her new single, “Hometown Heroes.” The touching tune and ode to the everyday hero was co-written by Bryna and has been adopted by the Air National Guard for their new marketing campaign. Much to Bryna’s surprise it was quite ironic that just as she was talking about the song, it began to play over the hangar’s loudspeakers. Everyone in the hangar began applauding as Bryna and her label rep. stood listening to the song, surrounded by the aircraft. Appropriately enough, Bryna was scheduled later that afternoon for a visit to WIVK, the station that had played her song.Bryna has been busy the last few weeks touring and performing in support of her new single and as the celebrity spokesperson for the Air National Guard’s marketing campaign. She is currently appearing in national radio and television spots for the ANG and has been joined onstage at several shows throughout the summer by uniformed members of the Air National Guard to thank them for their contributions to the country and acknowledge them publicly. “Hometown Heroes” is currently being played by WIVK and numerous other stations around the country and is climbing the Country charts.
