After spending all summer on stage, Kenny Chesney climbed into the “box” as a guest anchor on ESPN’s College GameDay and ABC’s Saturday Night Football. Chesney joined Kirk Herbstreit, Chris Fowler and Lee Corso on College GameDay and Herbstreit and Brent Musberger during the third quarter of the Vanderbilt-Auburn game.    “To me, this is the kind of crazy stuff every now and then I get to do that makes no sense and is so much fun,” Chesney said. “Kirk is a great guy and a good friend. We've had him at a bunch of shows, and this was like showing up at one of his deals and getting to play along. And then getting to get up in the booth during the game with Brent Musberger, I've been watching him call games for most of my life. That's like getting to work with Willie (Nelson), he's one of those people who just defines everything about what he does.”    As guest anchor, Chesney covered Vanderbilt during the broadcast, while Corso and Herbstreit took Auburn. Vanderbilt won the game, 14-13.    If tackling a gig as guest anchor wasn’t exciting enough for Chesney, his single, "Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven" hit No. 1 on the Country singles chart just six weeks after its release to radio. The single is the first release off Lucky Old Sun, which hits shelves Tuesday, Oct. 14.
