Kenny Chesney Dreams Up New Tour

Kenny Chesney is already starting to think about his next tour, and apparently, it's going to be sunny.The ACM Entertainer of the Year announced this week his 2009 tour will be the Sun City Carnival, a theme honoring all the tailgaters that seem to have so much fun in the parking lot outside of Chesney's shows."Sun City Carnival pretty much sums up what we do on any given date," Chesney said in a press release Tuesday. "Because if you hit a parking lot at any one of our shows, you're gonna find people grilling out, people blasting their radios, people hanging with their buddies -- some who come together from all over, just because it's so much a part of how their friendship was formed."Chesney said the inspiration for the tour came from the tailgaters he and the band saw at every show. "We hear the fun they're having, so when we get out there, we wanna be part of it, too!"More details about Chesney's 2009 Sun City Carnival tour will be released over the next few weeks.
