The song also references how, although Country Music has changed, Scott stays true to his roots. Rocky Comfort’s creator, Tracy Lawrence, praises Scott for his singing abilities. “Michael Scott opened at a couple of festivals where I played,” said Lawrence. “He’s a great live entertainer with a unique voice and he’s got that ‘something special,’ not only as an entertainer but as a person, that translates well to the public.” Scott was the first artist signed to the label run by Tracy Lawrence and his brother Laney. Tracy released the first two singles from the company, “Find Out Who Your Friends Are” and “Til I Was A Daddy Too” from his album For The Love. Scott’s album titled Bring It On  is due out in 2009.
