This weekend marks the debut at the Grand Ole Opry for some new faces in the Country Music world. Jessica Simpson will be making her first appearance at the Opry this Saturday night, Sept. 6.  Simpson is set to perform her new hit single, “Come On Over,” and “Remember That,” both of which are on her debut Country album, Do You Know, which hits stores Tuesday, Sept. 9. Saturday's Opry show has a “Ladies Night” theme with legends Loretta Lynn and Patty Loveless making appearances along with newcomer Crystal Shawanda. Next week, fans of Simpson can pick up her new album and see her on several big shows including Good Morning America, The CBS Early Show, Rachael Ray, The View and The Late Show With David Letterman. Montage Music Group’s The Road Hammers will also be making their Opry debut on Friday night, Sept. 5. The Canadian group has had a big year when it comes to firsts: first U.S. record deal, first album, reality show and first appearance at the Grand Ole Opry. The Hammers will also be honoring the passing of Jerry Reed at the Opry with their version of the song “East Bound and Down.”
