Jessica Simpson And Carrie Underwood Feud?

It's Jessica Simpson versus Carrie Underwood, round two, and it seems Simpson is trying to keep the peace, or win the fight. Underwood recently told Allure magazine that her ex, Tony Romo (Simpson's current flame) still frequently called her. Simpson denied Underwood's claims that she and Romo maintained a relationship and told a Nashville radio show that she and Romo laughed about the comments. The media called catfight, prompting Simpson to explain herself further, saying she respects Underwood and her career. "People are just trying to make a story out of nothing. I respect her and hopefully she respects me. We’ve just dated the same guy — that's it! I think it's impressive how many No. 1s Carrie Underwood has," Simpson said. "Her choice in songs is really great, and she has an incredible voice. As far as new people, she has one of the strongest voices out there." Meanwhile, Simpson has officially joined the Country Music Association and is preparing for the release of her first country album, Do You Know, which hits stores Sept. 9.
