Nashville's introducing a new talent to Country Music fans this fall—that of Melonie Cannon, as she releases her first radio single, "I Call It Gone," to radio this week. Learning from her father and songwriter and producer Buddy Cannon, the bluegrass-inspired singer has worked with the legendary Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, John Michael Montgomery and Sammy Kershey. "Melonie Cannon is one of the best singers I know. Her new bluegrass album is fantastic. I love her voice anyway, but singing with a great bluegrass band was a good idea. They blend well together. The fact that I got to sing with her on a song I wrote makes it even better. Go Melonie." Nelson said. Cannon's sophomore effort, And The Wheels Turn, is due out Oct. 7.  To learn more visit www.meloniecannon.com or www.myspace.com/meloniecannon.
