Australia’s CMC will add the series The Hitmen of Music, which follows the careers of Bob DiPiero, Tony Mullins, Jeffrey Steele and Craig Wiseman — four accomplished Nashville songwriters. The series aired originally on GAC in September of 2007 as the network’s first music reality television show. “This agreement marks an important step in the growth of GAC,” Kristen Jordan, senior vice president for International Development at Scripps Networks said. “We are happy to share this groundbreaking program with audience in Australia, where the country music genre is extremely popular. This series provides them an insider’s look into Nashville’s country music culture.” The GAC network is a part of Scripps Networks, which is available in over 175 countries on all seven continents. Scripps Networks is comprised of HGTV, Food Network, DIY Network, Fine Living Network and GAC.
