GAC Sponsors Hannity Freedom Concerts

8/9/2007 Stephen L. Betts Great American Country (GAC) has been named an official sponsor of the fifth annual Hannity Freedom Concerts. The five-city tour features Montgomery Gentry, Lee Greenwood, LeAnn Rimes and Charlie Daniels.  Created by talk radio personality Sean Hannity, proceeds from the concert tickets sales benefit the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund, providing college tuition assistance to the dependents of U.S. military personnel who have been killed or become permanently disabled in the line of duty. “These Freedom Concerts are more than entertainment; they honor the bravery of Americans that have served in the Armed Forces,” says Sean Hannity. “These concerts help provide college scholarships for the children of fallen or injured soldiers. We thank GAC for sponsoring the 2007 Freedom Concerts and for helping us raise awareness and support the troops.” The 2007 Hannity Freedom Concerts tour kicked off in Atlanta, Ga., and visited the Coors amphitheatre in San Diego, Calif., on July 26. The shows continue tonight (Aug. 9) in Cincinnati, Ohio; on Aug. 14 in Dallas, Texas and will conclude on Sept. 11 at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jerse. As part of its sponsorship, the GAC Bus will visit the Aug. 9 show in Cincinnati.  The network previously taped its Top 20 Country Countdown from the July 10 show in Atlanta.  Tickets for the Hannity Freedom Concerts may be purchased by calling 800-329-5454 or visiting www.hannity.com or www.freedomalliance.org.
