Hosted by songstress Martina McBride, the event will take place on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 in Nashville at the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum. Among those being honored are Dick Clark, and Country Music legends Bill Anderson, the Oak Ridge Boys, Brenda Lee, Fred Rose, Conway Twitty and Porter Wagoner. Also receiving recognition are those winners from the musician, bandleader and instrumentalist categories that are not televised during the ACM award show.
