The special gives a peak at what goes on behind the scenes of the tour and gives a true definition of what Cowboy Town means. The duo believes Cowboy Town is a state of mind and not just a record or a tour name. The show starts with Brooks & Dunn riding on the back of a truck, playing a surprise set for fans in Waxahachie and Dallas, Texas. Viewers then see rehearsals for the tour and how it ends in St. Louis, MO. Performances included in the show are “Brand New Man,” “Hillbilly Deluxe,” and a special rendition of “Believe” set in a rural church in Tennessee. Dunn adds in a statement that fans are going to experience something new they’ve never seen before. “Kix and I respect the real estate we stand on every night,” said Dunn. “We don’t take one inch for granted…The producers, Robert Deaton and George Flanigen, filmed this in a way that is unorthodox to the country audience. We made sure that when you’re watching – you feel transported. Like you were in the front row.”
