Stacy-Peavy Stacy Peavy’s single “A Better Woman” was just released to Country radio.  Her fun, upbeat single tells women to be happy with who they are no matter what other people think.  As the chorus says, “I don’t need to be a better woman, I just need a better man.” Written by Tony Martin, Connie Harrington, and Tom Curtis Shapiro, the single can be found on her new album This Is My Life.      Peavy hails from Silsbee, TX just outside of Beaumont.  She enjoys spending her spare time performing in and around Nashville and in the greater Texas area.  She has a diverse range in her musical background including singing inspirational, faith, and family music and Southern Gospel and Country.  Many of the songs on her album This Is My Life were written by songwriters who have written for George Strait, Garth Brooks, Faith Hill, Lee Ann Womack, and Kenny Chesney.    As a crossover artist, Peavy has been successful on the Christian Country, Southern Gospel, and Country charts.  She is excited to have her newest single on Country radio.  Her most recent releases to Country radio are “I Melt (When You Call Me Baby)” and her current single, “A Better Woman.”  Her Southern Gospel release was “When you’re Down To Nothing.”  Her Christian Country hits include “Address Change” and “You’re The One I Prayed For.”
