Editor's note:  Webb is neither a right-paw Republican nor a "yellow dog" Democrat.  Actually he's just dogmatic, and fairly humorous most the time.

When your favorite place to lay (or is it lie) is right in front of the television set, its kind of hard to avoid whatever the humans of the house are watching.  So for me the past couple weeks its been the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, along with some South Park, Family Guy, Comedy Channel, and my Tennessee Vols losing.

Anyway, in between all the rhetoric and dog doo they're slinging around at the conventions, I have noticed a lot of Country Music being played between speakers.  I also noticed the Brooks & Dunn's "Only In America" closed out the Demo's convention, while it was used by the Republicans 4 more years ago.  Then you got Trace Adkins singing the national anthem, with John Rich and friends twanging for McCain.

So my brain ain't the size of a humans, but I don't think anyone's going to yelp if I just go ahead and say Country Music is America's music.  To prove my point, we solicited a list of politically related words and phases from a Think Tank in my backyard, and have proven below there is indeed a Country Song related to each:
