Country Music Artists Stand Up To Cancer

Country Music recording artists LeAnn Rimes, Carrie Underwood and Miley Cyrus are just a few of the singers that participated in the recording of a charity single, "Just Stand Up," benefitting the non-profit organization, Stand Up To Cancer. The song was conceptualized by L.A. Reid and produced by the legendary Babyface and features the vocal styles of Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Leona Lewis, LeAnn Rimes and Carrie Underwood. The song will be available exclusively through iTunes starting Sept. 2. A Stand Up To Cancer television special will premiere a live version of the song. The special takes place on Friday, Sept. 5, starting at 8 p.m. EST, and will be simultaneously broadcast on ABC, NBC and CBS. In addition to vocal performances from top recording artists, stars from film and television will be performing, appearing and even answering the telephones.
