Buds-n-Suds Charity Event In Its 11th Year

The Buds-n-Suds charity concert and canoe trip is back in a big way for its 11th annual event that supports the Tennessee Chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, Inc. Headliner Darryl Worley will be at the helm for the Aug. 26 concert at the Limelight Club in Nashville. Fans can catch performances from Lee Brice and Carolina Rain and from songwriters Chad Hudson and Georgia Middleman. The kickoff concert will also feature a silent auction with items such as an Eric Clapton signed guitar, a Van Halen signed guitar, a Dolly Parton signed fiddle, a Sheryl Crow signed guitar, U2's Bono signed framed photo, a Kenny Chesney signed UT football jersey and more! The canoe trip will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23, starting at 9 a.m. in Henry Horton State Park. The four-hour cruise will include a canoe decorating contest, a poker run and a crowning of the River Queen. Tickets are $60.00 per person or $100.00 per couple. Past participants in Buds-n-Suds includes Big & Rich, Billy Joe Shaver, Keith Anderson, Marv Green, Shannon Brown, Jerrod Neiman, Wayd Battle, Bryan and Gordon Kennedy, Shelly Fairchild, Kylie Sackley, Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser and others.
