Belmont Debate '08

As a current Belmont student, I have been around campus to witness Belmont University's preparations for the 2nd Presidential Debate of 2008.  Walking to class was somewhat chaotic last week with all the construction and decorating going on to make Belmont's campus beautiful and dignified for the upcoming debate.  Though I'm not a political person, I must admit that I am very proud of my school and its contributions to tonight's debate.  Tonight, our future president will be standing in the Curb Event Center sharing his goals for making our country better, stronger, and safer.  Belmont has been a proud host of the CMT Awards for the past three years, and I feel that our new role, housing the Presidential Debate, will really help put Belmont University on the map!
