Elvis Presley fans from all over the world are in
Memphis to celebrate the King's birthday tomorrow (1/8).

An invitation-only Elvis Fan Club President's Event will be held tonight at Fogelmen Executive Conference Center at the University of Memphis. And a "Bears on Tour" Scavenger Hunt at Graceland will be open to the public, featuring special exhibits from the Graceland archives.

Tomorrow’s festivities kick off with the cutting of a birthday cake at Graceland and the annual proclamation of Elvis Presley Day by Memphis and Shelby County officials. There will also be a Gospel Tribute and a special ceremony at Graceland, with fans singing “Happy Birthday” to the singer. In addition, tomorrow's Memphis Grizzlies NBA basketball game, in which the team will host the Los Angeles Lakers, will feature Elvis-themed music, performances, and prizes.

Elvis Presley, who was born Jan. 8, 1935, would be turning 73 years old.
