“I’ve always wanted to do this kind of album. I just thought it was time,” says Richie. “I just feel like I’m doing music that really makes a difference. I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing now and it feels right in my heart.”

Richie left Lonestar last year to pursue a solo career, after 16 years with the group. He wrote three chart-topping singles for Lonestar, “My Front Porch,” “Mr. Mom,” and “I’m Already There,” and was honored by BMI as Songwriter of the Year in 2003.
