With a successful 30-year career in which she’s
balanced being a singer and actress (as well as working mom), Reba
McEntire has learned a lot of lessons that have helped her along the
way. But when she added “fashion designer” to her business card, Reba
says she got a quick education.

“All my life I'd worn hand-me-downs,” Reba says. “When I was in Annie Get Your Gun
[on Broadway] in 2001 I went to one of those fashion shows and a
reporter (asked me), ‘Who's your favorite designer?’ I said, ‘Levi?’
Now I can spout off the designers. I know who’s hot and who’s had
trouble and who’s had a comeback and how they turned their business
around and why.”

Reba
launched her clothing line in 2005 with Dillard's department stores,
but this week she’ll no doubt put fashion talk aside to spread news of
the much-anticipated, star-studded Reba Duets album, due in stores tomorrow (9/18).

Among the artists duetting with Reba: Kenny Chesney, Kelly Clarkson, Justin Timberlake, Don Henley and Carole King.
