John Rich Wins Big For St. Jude Children's Hospital, Named New Celebrity Apprentice

Country music star and half of the duo Big & Rich John Rich Sunday night was named Donald Trump's newest celebrity apprentice.  John and the other semifinalist, actress Marlee Matlin, both raised over $1-million for their selective charities during this season's run.  John's fundraising benefitted St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis.

John Rich’s latest album For the Kids is now available at Dollar General stores and online at www.dollargeneralmusic.com.

“Dollar General is honored to have John Rich launch For the Kids in our stores,” said Rick Dreiling, Dollar General’s chairman and CEO. “Our customers will enjoy Rich’s heartfelt music and feel good about supporting an artist who is committed to helping the kids at St. Jude.”

Rich was inspired by the kids fighting for their lives at St. Jude, and he wrote and recorded For the Kids just for them. He will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the album For the Kids to St. Jude.

“Thank you to Dollar General for the longtime support of St. Jude and for putting thousands of copies of my new release For The Kids in their stores,” said Rich. “Dollar General Rawks!”

For the Kids features the album’s title track and five additional songs:
