Reba Had 'Wonderful Time' On Tour

After wrapping her her tour with George Strait and Lee Ann Womack in Louisville, Ky, Reba McEntire is already look forward to the fall when the group will head back out on the road together.
Strait and McEntire first came up with the idea of touring together when they opened the new Cowboys stadium in 2009 and considered it one of the best experiences they’ve had.
"It was wonderful getting to tour with George Strait, Lee Ann Womack and Melissa Peterman. We had a wonderful time," said McEntire. ""We did the fall, the spring and the winter. It was great. I love being in that square stage that George has. I love getting see all the folks 360 [degrees]. Working with Lee Ann and George is a blast. Having Melissa Peterman come out on the road with me to do our little skit is just too much fun."
The duo is taking a few months off, but McEntire still has a few shows, including on in Choctaw, Miss., on May 28.
"I'm going to have a slow summer, and then we're going to gear up for the fall tour, which I'm really looking forward to," she said. "I thank George Strait and all of his organization for allowing me to tour with him for the year-and-a-half, and they're great people ... to get to work with."
