Zac Brown Band Hits No. 1

Zac-Brown-Band-2010-updated
Zac Brown Band's newest single "Colder Weather" reached the No. 1 spot on both the Mediabase and and Billboard Hot Country chart.

The song was co-written by Brown, as well as longtime collaborator Wyatt Durrette, band member Coy Bowles and Levi Lowrey from Brown’s label, Southern Ground Artists. “Colder Weather” is particularly special for Bowles, due to the fact that it marks his first #1 hit as a songwriter. "It's a very personal song for all of us," Bowles said. "It's something that really resonates because of where it came from. I think it's some of the best music we have ever made."

This is the second single from “You Get What You Give,” which also tops the Billboard Hot Country chart, simply days after the band’s performance on the Academy of Country Music Awards. They performed “Colder Weather” in a duet with James Taylor, which Brown recalls as the “best musical moment of my whole career.”

“Colder Weather” is the follow-up single from Zac Brown Band’s #1 hit, “As She’s Walking Away,” which features Alan Jackson. The song was awarded Vocal Collaboration of the Year during the Sunday ceremony of the ACM Awards.
