Country Stars Help Veterans Get Degrees

Some of country's biggest stars will perform at a local university's fundraising event benefiting degree-seeking veterans.

Charlie Daniels, Wynonna, Montgomery Gentry and The Grascals will appear at Nashville's Lipscomb University's "Operation Yellow Ribbon."

The university's Operation Yellow Ribbon program offers eligible post 9/11 GI Bill veterans and their family members either a graduate or undergraduate degree tuition-free or a degree with a greatly reduced tuition rate.

General Tommy Franks (Ret.) will be the event's keynote speaker, while radio and Great American Country personality Storme Warren will host.
