Kellie Pickler has never been one much for ‘traditional.’ She broke on to the scene as an American Idol hopeful, who won over the hearts of many but walked away from the show before the finale. Later, she became a country music superstar. Now, she’s making headlines for her recent marriage to songwriter Kyle Jacobs on New Year’s Day.
Opting out of the traditional ceremony, Pickler and Jacobs decided to elope in Antigua on New Year’s Day with a sunset wedding. “We didn’t have anything but us and God and our minister,” Pickler told People magazine, “and I can’t think of a word that can quite describe how perfect it was.”

The song is a sweet love ballad featuring the couple walking along the beach. Though the lyrics are truly from the heart, and bleed nothing but love, the true colors show while watching Pickler and Jacobs interact with one another.
