The usually media-centered Carrie Underwood took a back seat to hubby Mike Fisher this past month as news spread of his trade from the Ottawa Senators to the Nashville Predators.

Many speculated that the trade came because Nashville is Underwood's hometown, but Fisher says God is responsible.

"To be honest, I was praying a few days before about it," Fisher said. "I was just so frustrated and said, 'God, if you have me go somewhere, take care of it, look after it,' and He sure did that. He put me in a place I was comfortable with, and that's part of reason that this is the place I'm supposed to be and that's comforting."

Although extremely happy and excited about the move to Nashville, Fisher is very disappointed in the media who blamed Underwood for the trade. One radio station banned the country singer's music.

"I heard about it right away, and Carrie heard about it and she was extremely disappointed and frustrated -- I think they meant it as a joke that really wasn't funny," Fisher said. "I don't know if it was for attention or not, but obviously Carrie had nothing to do with the move or the trade or anything, so to imply something like that was just wrong."

Underwood has already been spotted at Fisher's Senators games in Nashville and is now likely to been seen in the stands during Fisher's Predators games, especially since she's currently taking time off to record a new album.
