Gretchen Wilson will be welcoming troops back with her blue jeans tucked into combat boots.
Wilson has joined other celebrities in the “Get Your Boots On” campaign, an effort focusing on supporting troops returning from active duty.
Wilson thinks the campaign is a simple and effective way to bring attention to men and women who serve all over the world to protect our nation’s freedoms.
“I am very proud to be a part of it,” she said.
Americans from all spectrums of society are being encouraged to get involved.
Proceeds from boot sales will be donated to partner charities, including the Lone Survivor foundation, which assists returning veterans dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and varying degrees of physical injuries.
