Billboard.com recently released their “Top 40 Money Makers 2011” list, and an impressive number of country acts made the list.
Coming out on top is pop sensation and fashion guru Lady Gaga, but Taylor Swift tops the country part of the spectrum at position No. 6, surrounded by Michael Bublé and Justin Bieber.
The website has an intricate formula to project the artist's earning based on touring and music sales.
With already impressive total earnings, the list doesn’t include profits made through merchandise sales, sponsorships or even endorsement deals.
