It took only eight minutes to convince Kenny Chesney that a single performance in Foxboro, Mass., wasn’t going to be enough.

The four-time CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year announced he will close out his 2011 "Goin’ Coastal" Tour with a second concert at Gillette Stadium, according to a press release.

The decision was made after tickets for Chesney’s initial Foxboro performance sold out in eight minutes.

“I can’t think of a better place than playing two nights at Gillette Stadium to close this year’s tour,” Chesney said. “I really missed playing Foxboro last summer and I can’t wait to reconnect with everyone in New England.”

Joining Chesney for the show will be Zac Brown Band, Billy Currington and Uncle Kracker.

The Aug. 28 concert will close out Chesney's tour. Tickets to the Foxboro show are set to go on sale on Feb. 5.
