It turns out rapper Kanye West has a record of interfering with country artists' award-winning moments.
"Redneck Woman" Gretchen Wilson recounted her Best New Artist win at the 2004 American Music Awards and how West reportedly felt "robbed."
At the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, West also stole Taylor Swift's thunder when he hijacked the stage from the country queen, proclaiming Beyonce had "one of the best videos of all time."
"His adrenaline was going and...he's a very passionate person, you know?" said Wilson. "What am I talking about? I don't know him.... I don't know him at all."
Though Wilson and West have made amends since, the country singer said the rapper still has some growing up to do.
"Quit being such a baby," the Grammy nominee said. "If somebody beats you, it’s because they deserve to beat you."
