Jason-Aldean-with-fans-2011

Jason Aldean knows how to throw a party.

The megastar’s fourth studio album "My Kinda Party" recently earned a Platinum certification, selling one million copies since its release 11 weeks ago. To date, Aldean has sold five million albums in the five years since his debut.

"I just can't say enough about country music fans and the amount of loyalty they have for their favorite artists," said Aldean. "To think that a million people already bought this record is hard for me to get my head around."

Aldean will soon kick off his next tour, which has already sold 41,000 tickets for the first four nights.

"I am so grateful to [my fans] for giving me the opportunity to play music every night," said the country rocker.

His "2011 My Kinda Party Tour" features special guests Eric Church and the JaneDear Girls and rolls into Little Rock, Ark., this weekend.

The country rocker dishes in the newest issue of Country Weekly about his Platinum success, sell-out tour and recent collaborations with Kelly Clarkson and Aerosmith’s Joe Perry.

The issue hits stands Friday, Feb. 4. For a complete list of tour dates, visit jasonaldean.com.
