Carrie Underwood, the top-ranking female country artist of 2010, played the last date on her “Play On Tour” in Connecticut last Thursday.
The nine-month tour, which included special guests Craig Morgan, Billy Currington and Sons of Sylvia, took Underwood across the U.S. and Canada to play 108 shows since its launch last March.
Fans and critics raved about her performance. The New York Times called Underwood’s vocals “impeccable” and the Arizona Republic said the show was “larger-than-life.”
The "Play On Tour" is currently up for "Most Creative Stage Production" at the Pollstar Concert Industry Awards on Feb. 5.
