There’s no better way to say thank you than with a vintage white convertible. At least that’s what Alan Jackson thought Wednesday when he surprised Zac Brown with his own 1966 Cadillac El Dorado.
Jackson describes the opportunity to add his voice to the Zac Brown Band hit “As She’s Walking Away” as “a real treat,” and he hoped the gift could return the favor.
“He was nice to include me on that,” said Jackson. “He's a pretty good fellow, and I just wanted to do something for him.”
Brown called the surprise unbelievable and unreal. “I will pay it forward. What an amazing night, amazing friend, amazing car,” he said.
And the night only got better from there. Zac Brown Band then played a show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
Jackson surprised the audience by showing up to perform their chart-topping duet.
Jackson is set to tour in Canada and Australia in the coming months, while Zac Brand Band wraps their 2010 tour in Atlanta with a New Year’s Eve show.
