Jay DeMarcus, Gary LeVox and Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts are currently on their Nothing Like This winter tour, which doesn’t end until March, but they already have their next tour on the drawing board.
"We're actually trying to put together the new set and stuff for the summer tour," LeVox told The Boot. "We can't wait. That's what we do. We're a live band. We can't wait to be out there with our fans and see, visually see, the impact music can have. We are pumped!"
Not only is the trio working on the set list but they are also looking to find some great opening acts for the tour.
"Chris Young is going out. Luke Bryan, or is it Easton [Corbin]? We're still putting it together," LeVox said, jokingly, "Whoever wants to be an opening act come on ... It doesn't matter if you can sing. If you have a pet you like, it doesn't matter. Bring them on."
The guys have some time off for Christmas and will also probably be spending some of it working out the details for the first-ever Flatts Fest that is slated to take place in Music City sometime next year.
