Dierks Bentley will be bringing his highly successful year to an end and celebrating whatever 2011 may have in store for him with a pre-Grammy concert on Feb. 12 at Los Angeles’ Troubadour club. Bentley had a phenomenal year in 2010 with three Grammy nominations and three CMA Award nominations, as well as being honored at the ASCAP Awards as Songwriter/Artist of the Year.

Guests for the February concert, which takes place the night before the Grammy Awards, will include the likes of fellow Country stars and friends Miranda Lambert and Brad Paisley, along with Dwight Yoakam and Pearl Jam.

Bentley, coming off the high of such success for his highly innovative and bluegrass influenced Up on the Ridge album, said he was not certain how it would be perceived.

"When I went in to make this record, I really threw away all of my expectations for ... Country radio airplay, just anything," Bentley said to The Boot in an interview. "I went into it with no expectations, and that's what freed me up to make the album we wanted to make. And on the backside of that, to actually be recognized, to have Country radio play the song ... there are no words for it. I'm still taking it all in."

To Bentley's surprise, Up on the Ridge peaked at No. 2 on the charts and birthed two Top 40 hits. And while his many awards and unexpected success make 2010 that much more special, he will be ending his year with a joy that cannot be beaten. It was announced in the summer that Bentley and his wife, along with two-year-old daughter Evie, will be welcoming another baby girl into their family around Christmastime.
