The newly-turned 21-year-old Taylor Swift will now not only be known for her musical abilities, her whirlwind romances and her record-breaking albums, but also as a face of Cover Girl’s new makeup line, NatureLuxe. The line will be launching in January 2011, which will include a Silk Foundation and a Gloss Balm.
“I’m really excited for people to discover the new NatureLuxe line from COVERGIRL,” Swift said in a statement. “The Silk Foundation and Gloss Balm are really light and fresh, they feel amazing on my skin.”
The advertisements for Nature Luxe, which are staring Swift, will begin airing in January, as well.
“Taylor’s naturally polished and beautiful look fits perfectly with the new luxury makeup line,” Vince Hudson, General Manager, Cover Girl Cosmetics said. “We specifically designed this line for women who, just like Taylor, want high quality products that flatter her lifestyle and environment.
Swift recently told Access Hollywood that the Cover Girl partnership is a dream come true for her.
“It's pretty crazy because…I was, like, 13 when I got a subscription to Seventeen magazine, and I would always flip to the CoverGirl ads,” she said. “It was always sort of a childhood dream for me.”
