This Monday, Keith Urban announced the 44 tour dates and cities for his 2011 Get Closer World Tour. The tour will kick off in Mobile, Ala., on June 16.
"Playing live is what it's always been about for me," Urban said. "It's creating in the moment. It's the joy, the electricity, the unexpected, the passion and the unknown journey that we're all taking together. I've always felt that the best live concert experiences tap into a deep need in all of us to feel a part of something ... to belong. I'm bringing the big boom box and an arsenal of songs, and I can't wait to throw this party!"
The tour will be stopping in several major cities, including Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Cleveland, Atlanta, Denver, Milwaukee, Seattle, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Minneapolis and Washington, D.C. Just last week, Urban released his Get Closer album, which contains his newest single, “Put You in a Song.” Urban’s previous five albums have been certified platinum or multi-platinum.
