Country singer Tracy Lawrence will host a benefit event on Tuesday, Nov. 22, to support the Nashville Rescue Mission.

The fifth annual Mission Possible turkey-fry will feature live music and is focused on raising awareness and funds for the Mission, which works to care for homeless and those struggling with addiction or abuse.

“This event is one of my favorites of the year,” he said. “It’s a true and heartfelt gesture by all.”

Brad Arnold, Burns and Poe, Chelsea Field, Matt Gary, LoCash Cowboys, Lathan Moore, Lorrie Morgan, Danielle Peck, The Roys, Jett Williams and the Titans Cheerleaders will join Lawrence for the event, according to a press release.

The benefit will be held in the Nashville Rescue Mission parking lot at 639 Lafayette Street and is open to the public.

500 turkeys were fried during last year’s event and nearly $15,000 was raised.

“I’m in awe each year of the support from my friends and the community who come out to lend a hand, make a donation and fry up some turkeys,” Lawrence said.
