Platinum selling Country group Little Big Town will be featured on NBC’s Weekend TODAY Saturday, Nov. 13, in a segment entitled “Secrets of Songwriters.”
LBT’s Karen Fairchild, Jimi Westbrook,Kimberly Schlapman and Phillip Sweet will join co-anchor Amy Robach to discuss the journey of a song and describe the writing process behind their new album, The Reason Why.
“When we went into the studio to record The Reason Why, we put a lot of emphasis on the writing process and song selection for the record,” said Fairchild. “It’s great to share the secrets behind the songs with the fans.”
Fans will get the scoop on how the band’s hit single “Little White Church” went from a concept recorded on a cell phone to the smash it is today.
NBC’s Weekend TODAY will air “Secrets of Songwriters” on Saturday, Nov. 13, in the 8 a.m. ET hour of the broadcast.
