The Americana Music Association announced the nominees for the 8th Annual Americana Honors and Awards ceremony this week. 
 
“These nominations reflect the vibrancy and diversity of the ever-growing popularity of Americana Music,” said Jed Hilly, Americana Executive Director. “Our Honors and Awards show will again be filled with legends and the next generation of stars; it’s going to be a musical night to remember.” 
 
The award show will be hosted by Jim Lauderdale at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on Sept. 17.  Buddy Miller, who received five nominations, will lead a band featured in the award ceremony.
