Jason Aldean Releases Top-Selling Album

Jason-Aldean-My-Kinda-Party-Promo

Jason Aldean’s fourth studio album, My Kinda Party, sold an impressive 193,000 copies in its first week, earning the biggest first week debut by a male vocalist in more than three years.

Aldean broke the previous record set by Kenny Chesney in 2007.

“I can’t say enough about my fans and this incredible ride we are all taking together,” said Aldean. “Don’t count out the kids who live out in the sticks, drive pickup trucks, wear John Deere hats and like their Country Music on the rockin’ side. There are a whole lot of us.”

Superstar Kelly Clarkson joined Aldean on the 44th Annual CMA Awards Wednesday night with a performance of “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” track seven on My Kinda Party.

“It’s been a killer week,” said Aldean. He called his duet with Clarkson special and “like nothing I’ve ever done on TV before.”

My Kinda Party is available now. The album's first single and title track has spent 14 weeks on the Billboard Country Songs chart, peaking at No. 10. For news updates and concert ticket information, fans can visit http://jasonaldean.com.
