Darius Rucker is headlining a campaign sponsored by the PGA Tour which will focus on raising funds for several tour-supported charities.
Rucker will also release a song and music video dedicated to the “Together, Anything’s Possible” initiative. The song will be available for download in January, according to a press release, and 100 percent of profits from the first year of downloads will go directly to support the featured charities.
PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem said he is thrilled to partner with Rucker. “We couldn’t think of a more appropriate person to collaborate with,” he commented.
Rucker is an avid golfer and said that bringing music and golf together, in partnership with the PGA Tour, is a great honor.
“There’s no greater privilege to me than to have an opportunity to be the voice of this organization through my music,” he said.
