Alison Krauss will celebrate the release of Charlie Louvin’s 20th studio album in Bell Buckle, Tenn., on Oct. 30. The singer will be performing at a fundraiser hosted by Louvin, Valerie Smith and Liberty Pike.
Louvin has scheduled a listening party during the fundraiser to introduce fans to his recent recording, The Battle Rages On, a 12-track disc featuring special guests Del McCoury and Jamie Dailey.
An auction will also be held, giving guests an opportunity to purchase Country Music memorabilia with proceeds benefiting support and treatment of Louvin’s pancreatic cancer.
The event will be at the Bell Buckle Banquet Hall. The auction will begin at 2 p.m., followed by the listening party at 6 p.m. and Krauss’s performance at 7 p.m.
