With only two weeks until her third album, Speak Now, is released, Taylor Swift is already looking ahead to future musical projects. Who does Swift hope to one day collaborate with? She told Ladies Home Journal she’d love to pair with a rap mogul, specifically with Jay-Z.
“I know our genres are completely different, but there could be something cool about that," said Swift.
It wouldn’t be the first time Swift crossed genre boundaries. She’s already offered vocals on tracks by both Boys Like Girls and John Mayer. And after her performance with rapper T-Pain, her collaboration with Jay-Z doesn’t seem far from possible.
But before any other projects are explored, her next album will hit fans’ play lists on Oct. 25. On the same day, Swift will perform songs from Speak Now on the steps of the United Nations.
