Some Taylor Swift fans are currently petitioning to get Oct. 25 off of school in celebration of the release of Swift’s new album, Speak Now.
The 'Twitition,' an online petition through Twitter, has almost reached 100 virtual signatures and will continue to grow until the Oct. 25.
According to the petition, their mission is to, “Help persuade Swifties' parents to let the true Swifties stay home from school, or at least half of the school day, on Oct. 25, 2010, in order to buy Taylor's Speak Now album when store doors open.”
Swift has yet to sign the petition but has indicated on her Facebook that she is excited about the release.
