Zac Brown Band will be the latest Country act to partner with NASCAR when the Country-rockers headline the Nov. 18 and 19 fan fest celebrating the end of the 2010 race season.
In addition to the ZBB concert, the NASCAR Champion Drive will feature the series-crowning Ford Championship race at the Homestead Miami Speedway, a cook-off, interactive displays, a question-and-answer segment for NASCAR fans and racecar simulators.
The Zac Brown Band has already played at both the October 2009 Talladega race and the 2010 Bud Shoot-out. The band is thrilled to be back headlining the event.
“We're excited to be a part of the NASCAR Championship Drive,” Brown tells NASCAR.com. “…[I]t’s always fun for the whole band. Not only does everyone make us feel at home when we're on the track but we have a great respect for the sport itself.”
Zac Brown Band’s recent album, You Get What You Give, hit No. 1 on both the Billboard Top Country Album and Billboard 200 charts. The chart-topping group is also nominated for four CMA Awards.
