James Otto recently performed at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre in support of the California AIDS Walk. The Sept. 26 performance also featured Jamey Johnson, Deana Carter and Billy Dean.

Otto chose to perform the hit “In Color,” which he co-wrote with Johnson and Lee Thomas and on the last verse dedicated the hit to “anyone who has ever lost anyone that they loved.”

Sheila E, Hanson, Shontelle and the Alan Parsons Project also gave performances at the event, hosted by Wanda Sykes.

The fundraiser proceeds will help expand HIV/AIDS testing, education and prevention in Southern California, with focus on non-profit organizations such as AIDS Healthcare Foundation, AIDS Service Center, Bienestar, Charles Drew Mobile Testing, Children Affected by AIDS Froundation, In The Meantime, Magic Johnson Foundation and Whittier Rio Hondo AIDS Project.

Otto will be in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., at The Chance on Oct. 8 and in Rosenhayn, N.J., at the Frank Lobiondo Sr. Park on Oct. 9.
