The Grascals, who have twice won the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year award, announced Oct. 4 that after six years, they will be parting ways with Rounder Records.
"We appreciate them believing in us from the get-go," said The Grascals’ mandolin maestro, Danny Roberts. "They've meant so much to us and they supported us completely."
Rounder Recrods has been a fundamental part of the group's success since 2004. “It was simply time for a change, and both parties realized that. We have nothing but respect for the label and the work they've done for us," said Kirt Webster, the manager to The Grascals’.
