Brad Paisley Pranks Easton Corbin

Brad Paisley is a renowned prankster and Easton Corbin found out the funny way how far Paisley will go to stay entertained.

Corbin had been performing the opening act during Paisleys H2O World Tour and said he expected Paisley to pull a fast one on him. “Whatever happens, I’ll take it like a man,” Corbin told The Boot beforehand.

During a Sept. 25 performance in Denver, Corbin was met onstage by an unexpected guest, courtesy of Paisley.

“This huge guy in a fully body, yellow leotard suit came up and it was pretty horrendous,” Corbin said on CMT Radio. “The band was playing and I was just standing up there laughing the whole time.”

Paisley wasn’t finished yet. Corbin said as he began to sing the chorus he was nearly hit in the head by a flying bread-roll.

“Of course, Paisley is up there throwing them,” Corbin said. “Then he runs up there and starts stuffing them down my shirt as I’m up there trying to sing the chorus and duck.”

Bread may seem to be a harmless object to chuck at a singer while performing onstage, but Corbin thought differently.

“Those things kind of hurt when they hit you on the side of the head,” Corbin said. “They must have been stale.”

Paisley said his passion for pranks stems from the boredom associated with life on the road.

“It can get pretty boring,” Paisley said in an interview with People magazine last summer. “It’s kind of a daily grind. Pranking is one way to battle that boredom.”

Corbin will be at Shooter’s Sports Bar in Texarkana, Ark., on Oct. 7 as Paisley continues his H2O World Tour with a stop in Calgary, AB-Canada on Oct. 5.
